And The Craziness Begins!

OK, not so much...This is the beginning of quite a busy week. There are pies to bake and a turkey to roast. Celery to clean and stuff, and a house to clean. Ughh, it is the never-ending cycle of things to do. The kids have school today and tomorrow, so that gives me a little bit of time to get something done....Now just to pull myself up off this chair and get to work.

C'mon.....get up......

Yeah it's not happenin'. I have yet to take in enough coffee to motivate me to do anything. As soon as it kicks in, I am goin' to clean this pigpen up a bit, then for your enjoyment, I am making a Pumpkin Roll cake today.

Should have made it yesterday.....it would've paired nicely with my coffee this morning.....


Speaking of coffee,hold on just a sec...........I need to grab a refill.

Speaking of Turkey Day, who's goin' shopping Friday? Not me! Well, I might swing by Harbor Freight and grab a gift for my step-dad. The man has EVERYTHING! It takes a bit of research to find just the right gift to get him. Every year, I head over to my favorite site, Gottadeal.com. The mods post the ad scans for almost all of the Black Friday ads well in advance of the big event. You can find the ads for just about every major retailer, including Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Sears, Old Navy, and the list goes on and on.


Not only can you find info on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but year-round you can finds deals on all sorts of stuff. Heck, if you work it right, you will be finished with Christmas shopping well before Black Friday rolls around. Imagine the relief of knowing you won't be running out on Christmas Eve to grab those last few gifts that you haven't been able to find. How good would you feel to know that you only spent a portion of your holiday budget, as apposed to spending a whole lot more. That deserves a trip to the spa!
